Two little badgers. Two brand-new adventures. And a family that suddenly discovered it needed two more little beds. 💚💜💚

In the Ventaris family garden, Samir was lying on his tummy beneath a flowering bush.

He had a little wooden box, a tiny shovel, and the most serious expression a little badger could possibly wear.

Amira had been watching him for several minutes.

“Saaaamiiiiir!”

No answer.

“SAMIIIIIR!”

“Shhhhh! Amira! Don’t shout!”

“What are you doing down there?”

“It’s a secret!”

Amira immediately moved closer.

“What secret?”

“If I tell you, it won’t be a secret anymore!”

Amira thought about that.

“All right. Then don’t tell me.”

A pause.

“Can I see it?”

Samir slowly lifted his head.

“No.”

“Why?”

“Because it’s a SECRET!”

Amira sat down beside him, carefully straightened her little purple hat, and studied the wooden box.

“Samir…”

“What?”

“You know we’re brother and sister, right?”

“Yeah.”

“And brothers and sisters share EVERYTHING, right?”

Samir gave her a long, suspicious look.

“Who told you that?”

Amira smiled.

“ME!”

And somewhere beneath that flowering bush, a very important secret was beginning to have a very serious problem.

Its name was Amira Ventaris. 💜
